21.05.09 - Cloudy ~~

As you probably have noticed, if not you're rather blind, I have changed my template yet again and it took me a while to edit it and rebuild it to suit my interests. It sounds weird when I say interests, just ignore that. I was going to say needs, but that sounded worse, so I changed it to interests. Anyway, I think I'm getting better at editing my templates, though not as pro as everyone else although my attempt is considered an omg for me already. I have aready downloaded a whole bunch of templates just in case I decide that I don't like the particular one I'm using so I'm fully prepared for complaints. Just like last time.

First thing I realised;; it's in Canto.

Anyway, about my day. A really retarded day including two tests, both really hard and both of them, I failed really badly.

First period - Maths
Today we spent a little bit of the lesson revising similar triangles. Let me make something clear, I don't get similar triangles at all, if anyone would care to explain how you do them, that would help. Then we went on to start our new topic, Algebra. Hip Hooray. {sarcasm} Anyway, I was busily trying to get through my work to study for Commerce and didn't end up studying much.

Second period - Commerce
For those of you who don't do Commerce, we had a test today and it was really shxt. I seriously failed everything and URGH it annoyed me. Anyway, if you are in the other Commerce class you look out below for hints on the test.

NOTE:I failed the test, therefore the answers I give here are not reliable.

Here we go;;

PART A - 20 Multiple Choice Questions
These were very basic and you pretty much do not need to study for. Not many tips in this part of the test.

PART B - Short Answer Questions
01 - Something about the "scope" of Commerce. I had no idea what it meant so I just put what Commerce was. i.e. Commerce is the study of consumer decisions, finance, business and trade... { that's a guess by the way }
02 - Outline four features of a simple contract { don't ask }
03 - Identify four ways to prevent impulse buying? { this is pretty simple }
04 - Define (a) credit (b) merchantable quality
05 - Fill out the table. { in the table, you have to fill in the adv. and dis. of supermarkets and corner shops
06 - I don't remember the question, but I think it was something along the lines of "How is technology affecting the way we pay for things?" Something like that.
07 - Fill out a cheque { fairly simple }

PART C - Essay
Here you have to write a one and a half page report on either
01 - I believe it was "Consumer scams and Organisations built to protect consumers against these scams"
02 - Payment choices. Name them and explain them. Outline the advantages and disadvantages.

Third period - Science
We got our Chemistry test back, finally. I received a 71/83. Urgh. Crap. Anyway, I got the simplest question wrong, I'm an idiot. I got the same mark as Moni. :)

Fourth period - English
Studied picture book Way Home. We had to analyse it so that we could put the photocopied sheets in order and then we created our own story out of the pictures.

Lunch - no lived.

Fifth period - Japanese
Today we did our speaking test. I failed badly. That's all. I did the first story about the radish, carrot, and burdock root. Excuse my spelling if it's wrong. Translated is Why is the Radish White?

Yeah.
