24 May 2009 - Sunny day ;; not very cloudy
4:00PM // 5:00PMSo, as you probably knew, yesterday I went to Taronga Zoo for a sleepover. So yesterday, I left the house at 4:00PM and went to pick up my brother from Chinese School. We { dad and i } arrived at the school too early so I decided that I was going to go find Gavin. & aha! I did. & I saw Wingyue too. :) Anyway, after that we went to Taronga Zoo. The GPS said it would take 9 minutes. My ass it did, it took fcking 20 minutes. Anyway, when I got there, I was 5 minutes late already and I could hear Lizzy and Emma going "Chiaaa!" and I was like, "Hi." Not really. But anyway, after I got off the car, the only thing I actually remember was Lizzy hitting me with Emma's pillow.
5:15PMAfter that, we got introduced to the staff and the library, which would later be transformed into the girls' domitories for a night. Anyway, we had something to eat, I think. Wait, no...I don't remember. At the beginning, they introduced us to everyone of the staff and gave us some booklets which we would need to mentor our mentees. The whole time, I was craving for food. When it was time for us to go have dinner, I was so relieved and I was literally rushing to get my dinner.
6:15PMSo much for rushing for this "great" dinner. All we got was a sausage sandwich. I eat lots you know, I'm one of those people that eat TOO much and gain weight while they're at it. There was a whole bunch of vegies that I could add to the sausage sandwich, but Moni and I, both as tomato haters, dismissed them all. ONE. All the vegies I liked, had touched tomato, therefore, it would give the other vegie a tomato taste. Jenny can relate, right? TWO. It all looked kind of 'not that great' either. Therefore, I had to settle with a plain sausage sandwich. Apparently, the sauce wasn't that great either.
6:45PMWell anyway, after that we had to listen to some people talk about things. We had to taken notes on what they were saying, but I seriously can't be bothered talking about it. Neither do I think that you would enjoy reading about it either. What can I say? It was boring. Not until later in the day did things get more interesting and enabled me to stay up. Not fall straight to sleep.
8:30PMAfter the talks, we got prepared to go for a nightwalk. The nightwalk was basically a tour around the zoo after dark. It was very fun and I enjoyed myself thoroughly { i should work on my vocabulary }. During the nightwalk, we listened to a story about a escaped Komodo Dragon. { i should work on my spelling while i'm at it } We also met a live tiger. Well duh, most animals at the zoo are alive, unless they are those statues. We also learnt how to chuff to the cat family and we learnt how to say hi to an elephant. The instructor with an American accent said that the elephants use their trunks to blow random shxt into their face. Lol, Daran was the volunteer. We also came to the place where they brought animals so that they wouldn't be dumb. At first I thought they were saying the place was a haunted house where an old lady lived. I was thinking to myself, wow, they sure have a full zoo, they even have a human. But anyway, that was probably the stupidest thought I ever thought of. Whenever I walk around the zoo in the day, I usually didn't comment on the smell, but at the nightwalk, since I couldn't see anything, I was using my nose quite a bit, and until then, I didn't realise how smelly it actually was! Oh god, it was foul. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the nightwalk, mostly walking around with Lizzy and occasionally Daran. Lol, Lizzy and I at the beginning, were always at the back and couldn't see anythin, until we managed to push ourselves to the front. (:
10:00PMAfter the nightwalk, we went back to the education centre, where we were preparing for bed. The boys moved their stuff out of the girls' room and we changed and got ready for bed.
10:30PMMs Maggs continously came in to tell us to "get horizontal" meaning for us to sleep. We all pretended to be sleeping and until she disappeared we were all silent. After she left, the first thing Moni said was, "Let's play cards!" We all laughed at that because it was totally unrelated and it showed Moni's liking of cards, just like Gavin, Jenny and me.
11:00PMWhile we were playing Cheat, Liz brought out a packet of sweet chips that looked like popcorn. They tasted really nice, and since Moni and Emma were being good and not-eating after they brushed their teeth, it was just Liz and me pigging ourselves out. We were still playing Cheat when Moni realised Ms. Maggs was behind us. She was literally staring down on us, behind me at the window with her hands on her hips. We hid the cards under our pillows and I squashed the chips under mine and we all acted really stupid. We all put our heads down on our pillows and pretended to sleep as if Ms. Maggs would think we were sleeping the whole time, even though she was probably there long enough to check out all my cards - Emma comments. It is ridiculous how everyone does that. Even though we knew the teacher had clearly saw us playing cards, we all play sleep as if she was never there. It is ridiculous but "OH HILARITY" at the same time. { if you don't read communitychannel, you won't get that line <3 }
11:30PMWe kind of gave up playing cards and started prank calling people. Well, it wasn't really prank calling, we were just calling people. First, we called Jackie, we talked to her for about 5 minutes then we hung up. After that, we just failed pranking, Jenny, Calvin, Vihan but they failed to pick up. After that, we just couldn't be bothered anymore. We managed to prank call Cho, who did pick up, but didn't say much. Then, when Emma was trying to sleep, Liz and I tried prank calling Will. But, he didn't pick up. Then, he called back. ;] And we talked in retarded voices. (: Yes, that was us. We also called Michael. Lol. && pretended we were Witney on Voicemail. Sorry, if I spelt it wrong. We also called Daran and Donny and just did nothing.
12:00PMAfter prank calling, we got bored of it and decided to play a failed game of Truth or Dare. We could only ever do truths as we were unable to move around a lot due to teacher patrolling. So, all we could do was truths. I won't state any of the truths because they were boring. Since it was such a failed game, we stopped really early.

12:01AMFinally, it's the next day and it is my anniversary day and I am overjoyed!
12:30AMWe couldn't think of anything else to do but eat.
P.S. By this point, Liz and I together had gone through our first pack of chips, our second bag of chips and were halfway through our pack of lollies.
Since we had nothing to do, all we did was gossip. Poor Moni was trying to get to sleep the whole time, to no avail. We're all very sorry Moni. So from here onwards we just gossiped and gossiped. We gossiped away like what girls do best. (: No, I'm joking, many girls have much better interests and good things. We learnt lots of things about the Asian Invasion. ONE. We are depressive. TWO. We overdose in drugs. THREE. This one is hilarious. We're all Gavin's hoes. Yep, just because we all no live and play cards all days, we're all his hoes. Wtf. END COUNT. Anyway, that's what I learnt. We're all really weird except for a couple of us. We are the gossipiest group in the grade. That's what I gathered, which I can share. Apart from that bit, I'm not sharing anything else. Yeah. During this time period, it was really suspicious because six of us all went to the bathroom in pairs in a really close time period. First, Anna + Izzy went, and as they were coming back, Liz + me left and shortly after that Tian + Eilis left. To the teachers, they were probably thinking wtf. While I was walking out, I pretended to have just woken up so I was
staggering to look like I was really tired. I noticed that all the guys rooms were really quiet and were really still. To me, it looked like they were all asleep. While I was coming back, the teachers kept staring at us, so I continued my act and
walked into a pole. I got back to the room safe and sound and jumped back into my sleeping bag. Nice and warm.
2:00AMEmma, Liz, Moni and I all seemed really tired now. So, we decided to try and sleep. Emma and Liz fell asleep like straight away. I fell in and out of sleep due to the lack of comfort in my sleeping bag on the hard ground. Poor Moni couldn't sleep at all. ): I remember occasionally checking my phone and the last time I checked my phone before everyone actually got up was 4:15AM. Well, around that time anyway.
6:00AMMy phone accidentally rang for no apparent reason and I woke up to Miss Independant - Neyo along with the rest of the girls. I am very sorry to everyone who woke up, I didn't mean to. But like, 30 seconds after, Emma's phone went off as well so, yeah. I really did not want to get up so I stuffed my head in my sleeping bag again and fell asleep for a minute or so before Ms. Maggs or some teacher called out that we had to get up. I sat up until she left, and when she left, I stuffed my head inside my sleeping bag again and wriggled into a corner so that it would be more quiet. I didn't managed to fall asleep again, but I wish I did.
6:30AMI finally got up because Ms. Maggs said the boys would be coming in to put their stuff into the room. I got up straight away and changed into my clothes and packed up my gear. It took me ages than everyone else and I eventually had to get help from Moni to put my sleeping bag away. Thank you Moni. Sorry you didn't get much sleep.
7:00AMWe had breakfast consisting of a variety of cereals, fruit, milk, toast and an assortment of other things that I didn't take. Moni and I, as traditional camp buddies always took Rice Bubbles and milk. Originally I was going to get just milk, but then I didn't see any cups. So, we ate and I had too much milk and Moni had too many rice bubbles so we swapped food.
7:30AMWe went out to feed the giraffes and learn more about giraffes. We fed it a bit of carrot each and it's tongue felt really scratchy. It's kind of hard to explain. :/ But, go read Emma or Liz's blog. It might describe it better.
8:30AMFor the rest of the morning, we went to the beach so that the instructors could teach us what we had to teach our mentees. Basically we walked around and the instructors told us what to tell the mentees to do. During our short stay at the beach, we noticed heavy thick black smoke coming from the Centre Point Tower. Later, we found out that it was a fire in Westfield or something.
9:00AMDuring this time we had morning tea and met up with our mentees. Description time.
Natasha - she is one of the goodie goodies. I really don't like her that much, because she thinks she so good that she can order me around. Although, when I lose someone from the group { that was pretty often } she goes and looks for them, letting me sit back and rest.
Nadia - she runs off too much. She gets her work done fast though, too fast and alwasy asks
what do I do, what dod i do I don't know what to do goddammit. Overall, I don't really like her too much. And she obviously doesn't like boy germs.
Olivia - she runs off a lot too. At the beginning I think she was too nervous too run away, in the end, she ran off with someone from Emma and Will's group. Sigh, what the hell. I thought she was the only good one in the group. Turns out she's just as bad.
Barr - no typo, like Lizzy said. He was quite quiet. He hurt his leg at one point, and he's really tiny. He was probably the most civil. He got lost the least I think. No, i think that was Natasha, but whatever.
Kyle - OMG, HE WAS THE MOST ANNOYING OUT OF ALL OF THEM. He wouldn't do his work, he wouldn't stay put and he wouldn't fcking stay still. He ran away from the fcking group to inspect a letterbox. OMG. Urgh!
That was my day, getting annoyed by heaps of little kids. Nadia asked me if I had a boyfriend, then she asked me what his name was, then she asked me was he here at the zoo, then she asked me ... too many questions. Natasha is a suck-up. Barr - quite. Olivia, urgh! Kyle. URGHHH!!
1:45PMWe went to the beach to eat and mentor our kids some more. I seriously have no comment.
2:30PMWe caught the bus back to school. On the way, I heard a group of people playing Truth or Dare. Turns out that Izzy and Eilis kissed Madam/Jesse on the cheek. Lizzy and Emma were sleeping. I was resting on Daran and Jonno was doing something random. Jesse was doing something random. I don't know. Then we got back to school.
3:00PMOnce we arrived at school, I was so tired. Lizzy slept on the tree branch with Emma's pillow and nearly fell off. I put my pillow on Jonno's back and used him as a vertical mattress and hit him everytime the mattress moved. Which was heaps.
3:20PMWe saw all of our friends that we thoroughly missed during our trip and everyone asked of our experience.
Overall, it was a fun experience and I hope I never see those kids again. Except I'll have to, which sucks. But oh well, during the first part of the Project Penguin, which was the sleepover, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I hope everyone else did too.

Can't be bothered talking about anything. I had my Science test and I failed. Not that fail which everyone says when in fact they mean they did really well, the fail where you actually did fail.

Today was not such a brilliant day either.
First period ;; Science
We learnt about the Big Bang. So the universe has erupted from a pinprick and has managed to expand and form galaxies and planets and stars from a pinprick. So the pinprick expanded and formed space, but what was the pinprick in, when it expanded. It can't be space, because there was no space. I continue to ask questions about this matter because I'm actually really annoyed how there is no answer to my question.
Second period ;; Geography
Again, we worked on the group assigment thing. I worked on the mindmap with Elmo and Donny while Emma and Maria did other parts of the assignment. Sadly, the assignment is due next Tuesday. So after Tuesday, there will be no more bludging of Geography classes.
Third period ;; Commerce
Seymour returned my book to me, not that it meant anything to me and she had given me a 10/10 for my bookwork. I am in awe. Literally. My bookwork is crap. Urgh. But anyway, the education part of my day was not very interesting.
Sport ;; was crap
So, this week we were away to Cromer and versing the Cromer team. I swear they are all trannies. They all look so tank it is not funny. Lots of us got some sort of offense. Jenny jarred her finger. Liz and Cathy slipped. I got knocked over by a massive person and I have a bruise and scratches up my left leg. We got owned 7 to 1. But what did you expect us to do. They had 4 fcking State players. Omg! It was so annoying.

After touch, it was even worse. The bus came late to pick us up. Therefore, we hd to catch the 3:30PM 280 bus. I caught the bus with Maria, Jenny, Donny, Will and JJ. At the bus stop, we saw Daran and Maria realised her she left her shorts in the bathroom. Interesting. When Will got off the bus, JJ got off the bus with him and ran to Will's house and pointed it out for us. So now, we can all stalk you, Will. (: Then Maria got off at Forestway. Now, I was contemplating whether or not to go to Chatswood or stay at home. In the end, I decided to go to Chatswood.
When we got to Chatswood, Donny and I walked Jenny to tutoring. ANNOUNCEMENT. I finally have confirmed who Tammy is. And my suspections were correct and it was that random guy from Pre-Uni from ages ago. END ANNOUNCEMENT. I just felt like pointing that out to everyone. After we took Jenny to Prime, Donny and I staggered down the stairs. I also believe, that the steps at Prime are way too steep for my liking. And there are 3 levels. == The first time Donny nearly fell.
After, we went to Pre-Uni to look at all the photos. Donny didn't know where Chatswood Village was and kept on asking if it was this store or that store, even though I repeatedly told him it was at the back. That probably didn't make much sense. Even after we saw Chatswood Village, he still didn't get it and wondered if it was the place next to Toni&&Guy. When we got to Chatswood Village we went inside to the square place. We spent ages trying to find Unit 47. We found 49A and suspectedd that Pre-Uni was the one a couple of doors down. Suddenly, a light switched on and Donny jumped. We thought it was too scary and we left. Only to find that we were at the back entrance before and so we therefore entered in the front entrance. But seriously, the back entrance was just like 5 stairs leading down to a door. It looked seriously povo from there.
When we got into Pre-Uni we went to the photo section. We saw Cindy and me. We also saw Carlin. { sxcpants } I also recognized Silvia, Lydia, Lily, Michelle, Helen, Virginia, Terence, TAMMY { i'm still very proud of my finding }, and SU YOUNG. Yes, we saw Su Young and we were both like O_O. And then we were like O_O. And then we were like O_O. And you get the picture. That meant I had known Su Young before? That was strange. But ok. Anyway, we looked at the other photos and noticed, Raymond, Chester, Derek, David and the twins that don't speak. I also recognized more people but was too forgetful to remember their names. In the Year 6 2008 ones, I recognized Xin Mun, Shelley and a couple of other people. But that was it. Donny said he wanted to see himself and Greg. So we were originally going to ask Stella for the other photos, but I was too scared of Stella, and Donny didn't go, so we didn't. While we were there, we saw Hannah, one of Shirley's friends. { I don't really like them } Gulp. But yeah.
After that, I had decided to go home, but then Donny said he was going to get his hair cut, and I wanted to see, so I stayed behind for a while. More than a while. We were looking at the Men's cut magazine and Donny couldn't choose. Therefore, he just asked for a trim and layering. The end product wasn't that bad but I reckon it was just the same, just a bit shorter. { No offense, but yeah, that was a waste of $17 } Anyway, after that I decided to go home because it was getting late. Late as in past 5:30PM. But oh well, I had art class.
I got to art class at 6:00PM. Originally I was planning to go back home and change first, but I realised that there was a chance my mum would have gotten back from London already so I fought the chance and went straight to art class. During art class I finally finished my drawing. It was really crap, and the teacher said I couldn't take it home and she was going to put it in the library! Ah hell!
I also found out that Erine achieved 1st place in the TOKIMEKI CUP. Congratulations Erine. I also heard that Moni achieve a place, but I'm not sure which place it was so I'll put it in when I find out. I'm sure everyone else who went and I didn't comment on did extremely well. You're all much better than me though, lol.
When I got home I realised I had a Maths test. Crap. Phew! this post took ages to write up, it actually took the length of 3 days. That is why my posts haven't been so consistent lately, I was trying to fit everything in. Sorry guys.
