05 May 2009 - foggy in the morning, sunshine in the rest of the day
Today, alot of things happened, but firstly, i have an announcement. Because that's what you do on blogs. Well yesterday, after I typed up my blog for the day, I was extremely bored so I decided to cut my hair a bit. Not too much so that my school photos would look retarded. Originally, all I was going to do was trim my fringe and thin -en it as well. { note to self; expand vocabulary } In the end, I cut my hair a bit more than I had planned. I realised my hair was thicker than I thought it was and in the process of cutting my hair, I realised a lot of hair was being cut off. To cut my hair, I used the typical thinning comb { i think that's what they are called } and typical layering barber's scissors. { I would like to note that it took me 5 times to type the word scissors because I forgot how to spell it and that is another reason why I need to expand my vocabulary.

In real life, it actually appears longer than that and in real life my fringe isn't that long.
Today, I cut it a bit more and it ended up like this.

Except again, the fringe is shorter.
No, I'm joking, I wouldn't dream of cutting my hair short as that. You can check for yourself. Ironic because I'm wearing the same uniform and the pictures look like they were taken in the same place and I claim that I'm taking them on different days.
The materials I used -

- the comb, the thinning comb, the layering scissors -

- they have a blunted zig zag like blades so that it doesn't cut in a straight line, allowing your hair to look casual. although it is specialised for thinning, i can use it for layering if i like (: -

- this comb has a blade slotted in the middle so that when you brush, it cuts at the same time, thinning your hair -
Anyway, enough with the hair. My day -
Before school - untitled
When Jenny arrived, we both took the tiramisu cake to the canteen. The cake was bought yesterday by Jenny from 85°C Cafe in Chatswood. It is a bakery filled with delicious cakes and breads. They are a bit expensive but worth it all the same. Anyway, the canteen let us put the cake in the fridge. We went back to the library and felt bored. Jenny wanted some gum so we raided Su Young's bag. In the end, we replaced it, AFTER we took 2 pieces of gum each.
01 - English
Today, we read some more of Romeo and Juliet. The teacher had assigned for us to finish one scene then watch it on screen. While a few of my classmates were trying to work out how to put the video up, we read on. When the video was
ready we put our books down and started watching the video .. to find that the video was lagging heaps. More than heaps. Anyway, the lesson wasn't particularly interesting, but it was ok.
02 - Science // Photos
IT WAS HORRIBLE. Literally. Seriously. School Photos are definately not the best part of school life, not that anyone would say they were. The only thing good about them is that people laugh at the people that look retarded. That's not that good either. As usually, it's me being the one that looks retarded. T_T I fcking hate the photographer.
her; turn your head a bit
- turns head -
her; no the other way
- turns head the other way -
her; no, that's too far
- turns head a bit the other way -
her; no, that's still too far
- turns head -
chia;Fcking hell, just take the photo already! - is what I'd like to say but doesn't have the guts to.
Sigh, that was my photo. To top it off,
her; smile
- fake smiles -
her; could you smile properly thanks
- tries to smile -
her; *sighs*
chia; *urgh!
Thank god that's over.
At recess, we celebrated Emma's birthday by eating the yummy tiramisu cake. Since I am at the moment unable to receive a photo from someone, I will have to satisfy you with one from the net. We ate a delicious tiramisu cake which was very creamy with chocolate petal things. Since we cut it less one, I ate from the piece of gold cardboard the cake sits on. Jenny and Erica and a few others were kind enough to give me some of their cake since mine consisted of the leftover cream on the knife. Oh yes, I got to eat with the knife. Jackie comments "butch".

EDIT: i got the photos

Hopefully, tomorrow, I will be able to supply you with some photos from today. I would also like to note, this was the first recess in ages that I didn't play cards. Isn't that an achievement!
03 - Geography
Boring as hell. Yet again. We were learning/doing sheets on Population Pyramids. I was a good girl since I never sit next to anyone in Geography because I'm so lonered by Emma and Maria { no, I'm joking I love you } and I finished my work faster than I expected and I have no homework! For once.
04 - Commerce
Today we had Dean so it was a fairly better lesson. We were talking about budgeting and I was feeling rather bored, so I half-rested. I had my head on the desk when Dean called out my name and quickly lifted my head. He then proceeded to ask me a couple of questions which I answered with stuttering and pausing, unsure what we were actually talking about. Thankfully, what I said was correct and I let other people talk so that Dean wouldn't make me talk again. That was a quick recovery by me. :D
lunch = back to normal routine, back to playing cards. && i ate a 70c pie.
05 - Maths
Today, Williams told us it would be our last lesson on simultaneous equations. *victory dance* Sigh, I don't mind them, but they were getting boring. Anyway, other than that, nothing much happened in maths.
06 - Japanese
In Jap today, we were given a quick quiz by Wyndam. Thankfully, I survived the test with what they call
flying colours. 10/10. Me being Chia, I helped Cindy pass with these so called
flying colours and during the marking time, I corrected two mistakes, enabling her to receive a well deserved 10/10. No, I'm not kidding, Cindy is ridiculously great at Japanese. Also in Japanese today, I spotted a kid in a photo with two fingers sticking up his nose. It was hilarious. Wyndam took a few seconds to actually get it and Gavin, Jenny and I were already cracking up. I have also noticed something, along with Jenny. Whenever we are in Jap, our two desks next to each other, always, somehow or other gets really messy. Even messier than the desk in my room. No, that's not true, but
just as messy.
On the bus -
I was really fcked for Chink school the next day, so I got Greg to help me with my homework, and I got a lot more done than what I would have if I hadn't gotten any help.
mm goi sai. Not that you read anyway.
When I got home, nothing interesting happened, and that was the end of my day. OH HOLD UP. I was watching asian tv, and I saw someone doing the asian squat. So I took a picture of it.

Oh, isn't THAT RIGHT! Asian squat. That show was at that moment interviewing little kids and finding out about them. How they became famous etc. Well slightly famous. They were all extremely cute. Especially one pictured in the photo. It was hilarious because he couldn't change into his clothes because he couldn't figure out why it wouldn't fit over his head.
because he didn't undo the buttons. Lol.
Yeah
(:
