Wednesday 24 June 2009 – fine, cloudy and sunny, cool
Today was a fairly good day. Nothing abnormal happened until we went to Chatswood after sport and just no living at recess. Overall, it was fun and there was only one thing that actually disturbed my day – I jarred my finger at sport. So:
01 – Science
Today, we used the laptops and I actually did some work O_O. We were revising meanings for some of the vocabulary used in astronomy. I shared a computer with Wendy. At one point, our Internet didn’t work, so we had to rely on one lousy website that didn’t have like any of the words we needed at all. It just produced us with either really simple sounding ones that didn’t sound sophisticated at all. Or, it was just
too sophisticated.
02 – Geography
In Geography, again, we revised for our upcoming test. Moni and I rushed through the first sheet at top speed and just idled on the second one. This took nearly the whole of the lesson and then Seymour marked the sheets. In the last 3 minutes, she says, okay, we can have our party now. Turns out, no one brought any food. Tom, Simon and Louie played this song I know but can’t remember on electric guitar, keyboard and bongos. LOL. Then Seymour was trying to get Chris to play his saxophone. And
failed miserably.
03 – Commerce
In Commerce, we got our tests back. I received a 54/60. Goddammit, I could have got a 54 and a quarter out of 60 but fcking Seymour said I couldn’t get get a quarter mark so she rounded it down, so I got 54. But I’m still happy with what I got. I happily got my 90% and I even tried to negotiate that quarter of a mark back, but didn’t succeed. ):
Lunch – sport
For sport today, we were versing Davidson. We went to Lionel Watts Park which is very close to Forestway so Jenny and I got a note to leave from the venue. While we were practicing before the actual game, Liz threw the ball to me and I was being unco and I jarred my finger. At the moment, I have a purple blob on my finger. T_T Anyway, the grounds were retarded because there was this mud bit and you couldn’t do
stepping because you either fell or slid. T_T The other team managed to cope with all the mud but I didn’t. Even with all our
strategies we still got owned and we failed that match too. Oh well
After that –
Jenny and I started walking to Forestway and it took us about 10 minutes. We went to the bathrooms and took a picture and then went to Maccas and got a mini frozen coke. While we drank we walked to the bus stop and caught the 280 Chatswood bus. Funnily enough, Greg and Lachlan were on it. At Jamieson Square, Lachie got off and low and behold, I saw
LOUIS YIP { something starting with s goes here ;; I think sing } LAU. He knows Greg apparently from church ;; or
youth group. On the bus, I chatted to him and yeah, talked.
His voice reminds me of a goose. I’m just saying.
Anyway, we got to Chatswood, and I said goodbye to
LOUIS YIP { something starting with s goes here ;; I think sing } LAU. Jenny, Greg and I started walking in the direction of Chatswood, when two little kids ran up to us and stared at us. Jenny thought it was Greg’s siblings ;; I thought they were just random kids that knew him ;; Greg thought they were somehow related to one us. Eventually, we found out that they were just randoms. We were quite bored, so we went to Hoyts and got Greg an application form. While we were waiting, I dropped my phone once again. Now, I have another scratch on it. Wonderful. After that, we tried calling Donny since he said he would be in Chatswood, but his phone is off and we found out that he missed the 3:00PM 280 Chatswood bus.
So we went to
Supre. No, we forced Greg into
Supre. While Jenny tried to find the belt she wanted, I collected proof of forcing Greg into
Supre. After that, we went to
HYPE and looked at some shoes. Then we { Jenny and I }decided to go to
Myer. While there, we went to Basement and found out that the shoes me and Jenny
<3ed were only
$20!. I was so tempted to drag my mum come and buy me them, but.. I realized I was in debt to myself. Oh well, tried putting a beret on Greg but failed. Later, we went to
Target where we searched for Size 12 heels, to no avail. The largest size was Size 11 and they already looked massive.
[Greg’s feet were too big.] The whole time, Greg was nagging to go home, but we were bored ok.
After that, Jenny had to go so since we had nothing better to do, Greg and I just walked up back to the bus stop and he went home and I caught a bus. The bus ride was really random. Behind me, people were playing around with a new phone and in front of me, a guy was snoring, to my side was a young asian teenager reading an asian newspaper. T_T Who does that.
I got home then quickly left to go to art class. At art class, again, I just sat and chat. In the last half an hour, I drew a quick ink drawing. I spent like 20 minutes on the rocks and 10 minutes on the actual main character of the drawing. I quickly named and signed it then put it aside and then continued to chat. When it was time to go, and everyone had left, my dad took ages to come. I helped tidy up until my dad came 15 minutes later.
I got home, ate dinner and watched
Hong Kong Challenge, MasterChef. It was funny, because the blue team wanted to go to the
Wet Market. But they got taken to the
West Market due to communication problems due to different languages
obviously. That was basically my day. Yeah. I took a shower and looked at my finger and found out that it had started to turn purple all over. Like purple purple. Then I realized it was just ink. But then later on when I washed my hands with soap over and over again, there was a blob of purple. My finger is throbbing omg.
Thing is, it’s on my right hand, and I write with my right hand, I eat with it. For Jenny, it was lucky, because she wrote with her left hand and she jarred her right hand. But for me, not so lucky. Oh well.
Mango.
