Monday 13 July 2009 - the day the hobos come out to play
Okay, this whole post is a joke, I just felt like posting something since, I'm just strange that way. Anyway, I hope this comes out right, the order of posting or some crap. I just couldn't be bothered getting the photos until now. & these I actually took.
So, it's general clean up day here in Forestville and a
very special day for
'the hobos to come out and play'. Seriously though. You could live practically free. Well, get a shxt quality house for practically free.
You have your mattress which is an equivalent to your bed and your sofa.

You have a computer and a TV, or is that a microwave. Either way.

You have a bicycle and chairs etc.

You also have a barbeque, equivalent to your stove.

They even give you a
WINDOW!.

AND YOU CAN HAVE THIS HOUSE FOR PRACTICALLY FREE
Yeah, a short thing where I'm just slightly weird. >_>

I also became mine own shxt quality
Masterchef and I whipped up my own {not really}
Jam and Cream Scones with Chocolate Dipped Strawberries. Just to make this post longer, I'll add the recipe. :D Btw, since I didn't have access to some ingredients, I just kind of tweaked it a bit.
Ingredients;
+` 225g self raising flour
+` pinch of salt
+` 55g butter
+` 25g caster sugar
+` 150ml oz milk
Serving;
+` dairy cream
+` COLES strawberry jam {all other strawberry jams actually have strawberries in them}
+` more white sugar
Strawberries;
+` strawberries
+` cooking chocolate {dark}
Method;
1. Heat the oven to 220C/425F/Gas 7. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Using your hands, get a large bowl and mix the flour, salt and butter together so you don't see the butter very well
3. Stir in the caster sugar and the milk with something other than your hands because it gets icky. {didn't have any caster sugar so just used white sugar}
4. Knead the mixture until resembles dough adding a little bit of flour at a time so that it doesn't stick and get annoying
5. Use your hand to hit the dough until flat , should be about 1-2cm thick.
6. Use something about 5cm in diameter and cut out circles and place them on the greased baking sheet , unless you want malformed scones
7. Stuff them in the oven for 10-20 minutes or until golden brown OR until when you stick a skewer into it and it's stiffish.
Cream;
1. Get an electric beater and beat the cream at a high speed while adding 4 teaspoons of white sugar slowly until the cream is puffy and resembles cream.
Strawberries;
1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring it a bit after each 30 seconds. {i was lazy and just melted it in the microwave}
2. After it has gone liquidy ish {not too long in the microwave otherwise it will dry up} dip the strawberries in and let dry
Serving it;
1. Use a knife to cut the scone in half so that you have two circles.
2. On the inside of each of the circles, spread some strawberry jam and spread the cream
3. Assemble it together again and then further place some cream on the top. Then place the strawberry on top!
AND TA-DA! {be nice okay}

Throughout the process;

- yeah, you don't have to be genius to know that it looks like a bowl of shxt -

:)
