DEDICATIONS + NEW LAYOUT
My dedications are finally up. I did say I would get them done last night, but I was busy (that’s what I always say) but then again, at least I got them up. I apologize if I have any mistakes to do with this year and last year, I’m still really confused about how time passes so quickly. Hope we’ll all stay together in 2010.
Cathy
Haha, you, Erine and me in English is pretty funny. I remember how half way through the year we decided to fight for the middle seat. Then I gave up and let you two fight over it. Cathy, you’re so unique that you’re a stereotype to me and probably to rest of the Invasion. To us, no matter how old the new year turns you, we’ll always see you as “The girl who trips over her flats, the girl who enjoys the colour of red, the girl who has a see through dress, the not-so-asian one of the Asian Invasion.” I remember I went to the city and it was boiling, yet I wore a singlet underneath my dress. Emma asked me “It’s so hot, why did you wear a singlet” and I said “It’s a Cathy dress”. Emma understood completely. You’re so smart, I hope you don’t move to a smarter school.
Cindy
You will forever be my guru on everything. However, most of all, you’ll be my food guru. Your blog inspired me to start blogging and I thoroughly enjoy it, even though it may be a hassle at times. I will forever remember your food pictures that made my mouth water. In Graphics, we bludged together and actually did our work together. At North Shore, when we snacked while doing our test and when she finally told us off about our love for eating during class. As well as that, your endless rambles on suncare, shopping and that excellent ‘walk around the room’ speech on chocolate. I extremely enjoyed discussing dramas and also thank you for helping me indulge myself in the world of TVB. Now, I’m completely taken over by the world of dramas. However, thing is now I barely do my work, it’s all drama now. I hope we’ll be in the same classes again this year and we’ll stay together even from primary school.
Daran
Even though I haven’t known you for as long as everyone else, I’m really happy to have met you. During North Shore, you were the only one that didn’t just do North Shore for a term and then leave, but now you have private tutor. I remember on msn, how at times the only thing you said was ‘I’m bored’ or something along the lines of boredom. One time, I listed a large amount of Facebook groups and pages to help you not be so bored. Last year I was able to be in your Graphics and Commerce class. Hopefully, I’ll get to be in them again this year. Even though next year you may not be in the same school as us, I’ll wish you good luck for then.
Emma
Even though in primary school we weren’t the best of friends but now we are. Friends to the point where I’m your arm rest. Haha, but this year, I plan to grow taller so I won’t be an arm rest anymore. Actually, I’ve grown 8mm so far. It looks like I have plenty to go though. In History and Geography we endured Seymour together. Your elegant laugh when you cover your mouth is hilarious but it’s funny all the same. Will and you are probably the longest lasting couple in our group so far. You’re approaching a year you guys, you better last. Hope you guys stay a loving couple forever. You’re so pro at art it’s scary but I hope it helps your future.
Erica
My maths buddy! I remember the first lesson of maths you were late, so I thought I was going to lonered again. However, at the last minute you rushed in to the classroom and I sighed a sigh of relief. Haha, that sounds so retarded but you know what I mean. I highly enjoyed having maths with you and I hope I will next year too. We’ll fight those maths problems together! That sounded retarded to. Thanks for your cushion which I used to sleep on in English and Jenny and I used to do the Teletubby thing with. Haha, and your name keyrings you made for us Asian Invasion are exceptional and they’re so cute. Your paddlepop stick chopsticks made us all laugh but it was truly a smart idea. I hope you and Jono stay together, like us invasion.
Erine Omgosh, I don’t know what I would do without you. You’re so smart to have skipped a level in Chinese. I’m so happy I wouldn’t be a loner anymore. The rest of you better skip some levels too then we’ll all soon be in the same class. You’re my English buddy as well as Cathy. I remember the time Cathy was playing a game on the laptop and we were supposed to do a storyboard and you said, ‘Okay, I’ll stop her’ and you watched her play. In North Shore your endless rambling on how tired your hand was. Sadly this year you’re going to Prime. Damn you smart people. You’re art is so good, it’s not funny. Let’s be in the same class in Year 10 too. Hope we get a good teacher for Chinese.
Gavin
I’ve known you for 5 years already and it’s coming to the 6th. However it’s probably during this year that I’ve gotten to know you the most. Ever since you first said ‘I watched it before you’ I grew more determined to watch the video before you. All the classic lines from communitychannel will never grow old. At karaoke, we copied her video for Katy Perry’s I Kissed A Girl. By communitychannel’s guidance we turned it into an all new ‘I fxcked your mum and I liked it; It tasted like foot’. Even though the rhythm wasn’t right, it was funny all the same. During the time I still went to Sunday Chinese School, I remember bludging class and walking by your classroom and seeing you guys play handball. Playing Big 2 and Asian Poker really got us all into cards. However when it died down we all just became lazy. I really want to play Mahjong but what the hell, you can’t play at school. Thank you for all the dramas as well. One day, I can say ‘I watched it before you’.
Jackie
You may be slightly retarded, but I love you all the same. During North Shore, when you still went, it was really fun, especially the lessons where we already knew the content and just bludged the rest of the lesson. I especially remember the lesson when we looked through a phone and saw a picture of Hufton yawning. We both cracked up really loudly and couldn’t control our laughter. One lesson we just ate lollipops and took luvos. When we took sticky photos and you were always late, I was so annoyed because then, I only had one set up sticky photos with you in it because you were always late. However after that, I got some more. I still can’t believe you’re older than me. Seriously though, stop cheating your height. Haha, yeah, if you read Emma’s I grew 8mm, so now, I can be considered taller. During Graphics, we bludged together and all, I remember the time we went to the bathroom and then you tripped while coming back and we had to go again. In Commerce, you and I always sat together and mucked around. Hope I’m in your classes next year.
Jenny
You’ll forever be my fadb buddy. Once again, I was only in your Japanese class. However, it was still fun, but I hope in Year 10 we’ll be in more of each other’s classes. We’re alike in so many ways, especially our appetite. We both eat too much, and spend way too much money on it food. At bowling, we said we would go to your house one day, but we never did which was a shame. I want to go to your house soon. In touch, we were the Ginger Ninjas and then the Ginger Ninjas Reborn and then the Ginger Ninjas Reborn Again. I have no idea where that came from but it was fun right? After sport on Wednesdays we would go to the mall, or go to Chatswood together and just go window shopping and plan on buying this and that but never get to it in the end. It was shame, there was so much stuff I wanted. In the end, I guess you can’t have everything. I remember the time, you went to my godsister’s house and we played cards and we all got hyped up because of my godsister’s laugh. It was so retarded, even more than Jackie’s retarded laugh. The record of you always being my sticky photos is still on and I hope it will be forever.
Liz
You’re my evil asian buddy. I have so many names for you: Hoa, Parka1, LizzyPoo etc. I remember you changed your last name to Hoa so that we could sit together in the Year Assemblies. I remember last year I relied on you for my daily exercise. We all got chased around the Quad until our breath ran out. I remember our first round of sticky photos with Jenny, you were so pretty. The round in the teddy bear machine was so pretty too. You got so pro at decorating and your poses are so cool. In touch I said you ran like a duck, only because when you ran you pushed the air back with your hands like wings and made you run faster. Your sense of style is so awesome and you’re totally a different person at school by the way you dress. Not in a bad way, you're so pretty in non-school clothes. At karaoke, your voice is exceptional and you sing so well. Your scream will forever be the most high pitched I’ve ever heard and I hope to hear it forever! Not really, just voice.
Maria
Though I’ve only known you for a year or so, I feel like I’ve known since forever. You’re so pretty and sporty and omgosh, I feel vulnerable next to you. But I love you all the same. Somehow, I came to be your daughter, haha. I remember the time you truly acted like a mother to me feeding yourself while feeding me. But then again, I grew 8mm so I’m little anymore. Your ability to dance is astonishing. You’re so good at touch, I remember in touch you scored so many tries. Even though I was only able to be in your History/Geography class, I enjoyed it while you always sat in front of me. I remember the first time I met you, I was like ‘Her hair is so damn straight’. Now that I get to know you, I know so much more. Hope I’m in more of your classes next year.
Moni
This year, I thoroughly enjoyed sitting next to you in History/Geography. Enduring Seymour together was fun all the time. Sitting next to you, I got to have fun making fun of her and I did my work most of the time. Haha, I remember the time when she chucked a DVD across the room and it hit you. Also, when she said you had stage fright. After that, we were able to use that against her for quite a while. When I first really started to talk to you, it was the end of Year 7 already, but the two band camps we went on together were very interesting. On the first one, we were the last to go to sleep and on the second, we got to sleep in because of our spectacular room choice and the abundance in Private Practice times. I remember it was so cold, we warmed our instruments under the heat blanket. Although we’ve both given up on the band, I hope I’ll be in your History and Geography class again.
Wingyue
I haven’t known for so long because you didn’t go to this school, but since this year you’ll be coming to our school, I’m sure I’ll have many more chances to see you now and get to know you better. I remember our bebo red love heart wars while our Bebos were still alive. Now we have to resort to the Facebook gray love heart to spam each other with. All the same, if Bebo ever becomes popular again and my Bebo revives, I’ll be sure to start more of those red love heart wars with you once again. For now, it’s Facebook. Even though I wasn’t able to celebrate your birthday with you (hmph) I’m pretty sure I’ll have many more chances to in the future.
Wendy
You and your ways of tricking me. Always pointing and saying ‘Look, it’s a flying octopus’ or something else rather stupid make me look so gullible. However, if it’s not Wendy, it wouldn’t work. Yup, it’s only Wendy’s special skills that make me so gullible. Science and PE and Commerce and Japanese and Graphics would not be unique without you. I remember your over the top cleaning of your laptop and cleaning it from the screen onwards to ensure that not one bit of dirt is allowed. Although I still want to be able to see you do that more so I can be in your classes once again next year. You’re so good at maths, you should be in accelerated, however, I still think it’s hilarious when you told me you accidentally typed into the calculator 8+0. Your phobia of the sun is something I’ll definitely remember. Hopefully next year we can run around avoiding the sun playing The Sun Game together.
Oh yes, and before I finish this post, you may have noticed I have a new layout. I really like this layout apart from the fact you can’t see my entries once you have opened the page. You will have to scroll down a bit. I especially like the ‘back to top’ gadget with this skin. There are links at the top and it will lead you to your destination. As well as this, there is also room for comments! However, I have still kept my chatbox active so that you can choose whether to comment or chat. I really wanted to have sparkly mouse again, but I couldn’t be bothered. Haha, where my laziness kicks in.
