Recently, being the holidays, I've been burning holes in my wallet by watching many movies. I was going to review them all, but I guess I could do a brief little thing?
Goong
★★★★☆
Shame there was no half star, because I would have put 4.5 stars. I love this drama, but it's a bit long-winded and progresses really slow. That's why it lost a star. It's 26 episodes, I would recommend it, unless you're one of those people that will rage unless it goes faster. Like me. But I had time on my hands because it was the holidays. I also don't recommend this if you don't want to cry. To be honest, I don't think the Prince looks that hot, BUT it's still a good drama. Mostly Romance I suppose.
Glee

I actually really like this. I'm a fan of singing and dancing things because they look really cool and yeh. But obviously, because they always happen to have a song that describes their life story, it makes it slightly unrealistic. And I doubt they give out free slushies, however, that's America we're talking about. And I also love Sue. She is like, cool :) Also, because I'm slow and only get the trends until after a while, I'm only on Season 1 ... T_T Yeh, sorry about that. From this, you get laughs? singing along with shit? Hell, I even danced. I'm lame.

I didn't actually like this movie at all. I mean, it was alright, I'm too nice a person to give it less than 3 stars out of 5. Totally, not really. It's just about American schools with having to keep up a cool reputation and all. It's not that great. Honestly, that's all I can say. I think I'm more into fantastical and not so generic movies. I think that's what alot of people are into now. Everything is the same now I swear. == Anyway, this is good for people who have already watched every other movie in the world and is bored to wit's end.

Despicable Me

I love this. Role reversal. Not generic. Not Easy A. Seriously, these minions are the cutest things. They don't talk English, which is what all cute things do and they squeal, which is also what cute things do and they're like one basic shape (cylinder) just rounded at the edges. And they're in OVERALLS. I repeat OVERALLS. How could you not adore these? Honestly. Anyway, this is what it looks like, a kid's movie. What can I say, I love Disney, Pixar, everything that's for kids. AND THAT LITTLE KID. Okay, she talks English, but that's forgiven because she's small and has huge eyes and she has the cutest ponytail. So, this is for people who love kid's movies and cute things. I suppose.
Avatar: The Last Airbender (anime)

I like this a lot better than the movie. Maybe because it didn't cut out like every second minute of what was happening and because it's a cartoon. And because they don't have a nationality. Everything's much prettier and not so poverty-stricken looking. I just love it because 1. kids and 2. just because. Actually, I don't really know why I like things, it's like when you ask me, why don't I like tomato? because I don't. Also, don't compare tomato to congee. They are different. Rice is different. It's much more Asian and cooler. Anyway, this is for everyone like me who goes home after school to watch kids' cartoons. Nevermind. It's for cool people.
Avatar: The Last Airbender (movie)

They pronounced his name wrong. It's Ang, not Aang. Wtf is a Aang. It's like si haang (toilet in canto) without the h. Anyway, Ang looks like he's going to kill someone the whole time and at no point does he look happy. I swear. And Katara looks depressed and like she has eye bags all the time. Sokka has the weirdest hair, seriously, I've heard people actually insult people with this and they don't actually mean it literally, but it does look like someone put a mop on his head. Honestly. Furthermore, Zuko is just a really pissed off guy. Well he's like that in the anime, but in the movie, he has big eyes and they're not small and like a line which makes it more like his really angry and not pretending to be angry. I reckon, it would be a much much much better movie if the actors were freaking Asian. Seriously, the Fire Nation is Indian, the Air Nomads are Eurasian, and the Water Tribe are white. There is something wrong with this film. The only normal ones are selected members of the Earth Kingdom who are actually Asian. Otherwise, some others are also Eurasian. This is for people who can't be bothered to watch all the episodes of the anime, otherwise, I recommend watching the anime. Fully.
