#160- I'm making a comeback, better and wiser than ever.

A lot of people have returned to the blogging community, and I feel like I should also contribute a bit, but then again, when I blog, even I get bored of myself talk about my everyday life, so how can I expect you guys to read past the first line? - so I want to talk about more grown-up things because I aspire to be more mature. Sort of.
It's great that my comeback coincides with the beginning of 2012, nearly- the apocalypse year. Personally, I don't really give a f*** about the fact that the whole world is going to end, partially because I don't believe it's going to happen. As I revisited my blog, I noticed the header read f i f t e e n - this year, I'm turning 17... so I am wiser, better? I believe so. (I'll change that header soon.)
My last post dates back to October 13, 2010. Since then, I've met some amazing people and grown closer to those that were already there by my side. I've also survived my preliminary year and started my HSC year. (The capitalisation of the letters signify it's importance.) Like I said, I get bored of myself talk about everyday life- so, I'll stop.
So the new year has just arrived and what does that mean?- New Years Resolutions.
We all know out of the ten that we make only one has even the slightest chance of even surviving those 365/6 days, come to think of it, 2012 is a leap year! Another day to celebrate my and your existence, and of course a special day for those born on 29 of February. But really, the New Year is a time for reflection and change based on that reflection, and these goals that we decide on, they are our NYRs. We know everyone makes them based around being a better person, and I'm not going to lie, that's mine as well. We all just hope that they'll work out for the next few hundred days and we'll be alright...until reality hits and we know that it's not really going to work out like that. Even if it did, it'd be a pretty bland life with no exhilaration or anything. Maybe we're all better off just making smaller short-term goals for a month...
And regarding the past year or so that I've been away, I think I have become just a little bit better, and a little bit wiser.
