DAY 10 - songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, hyped, mad
Wednesday, October 13, 2010 @ 10:32:00 pm
I don't
usually have songs for when I'm especially emotional. Maybe. I usually listen to
RnB anyway. When I'm especially happy and feel like jumping around I listen to
doof doof music :) The cute ones. When I'm sad, I listen to Yiruma's music because Yiruma music is so calming and is the type you wish would play in real life when you're running through the rain.... in a drama. When I'm bored, I just put it on shuffle and play all the good songs. When I'm hyped, I listen to catchy songs that I
REALLY love and that I can sing to so I can sing to them. When I'm mad, I'm not really, or just lie in bed and cry :'(
P.S. decided to blog TWICE today.

DAY 8 - short term goals for this month and why
Tuesday, October 05, 2010 @ 9:52:00 pm
I think I "accidentally" skipped Day 7. But that's because I don't really know if anyone has had that much of an impact upon me. Neither will I have a picture of them. That's why, I "accidentally" skipped Day 7.
So, Day 8. Considering it's the holidays, I have a lot of goals related to catching up at school. I have heaps of short term goals in fact.
1. Complete summaries for all subjects to be tested in School Certificate
Why? Because I want to do well. Duh! Recently I attended a workshop that was planned to assist us in the preparation of our School Certificate. Well, they asked us a question. Do you want to achieve over 90 in the School Certificate? Of course, I said yes. But then they proceeded to ask: Are you studying like you want to get over 90? I guess not. So, I was planning to make summaries but I suppose that's not working.
2. Get a pharmacy that will let me do work experience there.
At the beginning of the holidays, I kept on reminding myself about this. But, I forgot about it. Again. It is now going closer and closer to the end of the holidays and I have yet to find a place. What can I say? It slips my mind. A lot.
3. Get a formal dress
This is the only goal that I've worked at achieving. I've gone out twice to go formal shopping. I'm not exactly what you call close to finding a dress. I know a few people that have already got their dresses, some with a back up dress. Me? Nothing. Not even a dress that can pass as a back up dress. I have to try harder.
So, as a result of this blog, I have a blog topic in mind. Won't keep you waiting :)

DAY 6 - my favourite superhero and why
Wednesday, September 29, 2010 @ 8:32:00 pm

Sailor Moon. self-explanatory.
In fact, that's not true, I just don't really know any other superheros. Yes, I do, I just don't like them. In actual fact, I think Sailor Moon is really dumb. She's really dense and gullible. She takes ages to realise something is evil, and when she does, Luna the cat has to help her. She's so stupid she can't tell the difference between the person she hates and Tuxedo Mask whom she loves.

DAY 2 - the meaning behind my obsessions
Tuesday, September 28, 2010 @ 9:25:00 pm
REPEAT. I FORGOT TO MENTION SOMETHING.
6. VITA Lemon Tea

I am absolutely obsessed. I'm going through packs of these it's burning holes in my wallet. D: But I adore this lovely drink :)

DAY 5 - a picture of a place you've been
@ 7:54:00 pm

This is pretty lame, but I felt really epic as if I was in a movie. This is the really narrow pedestrian bridge above Warringah Rd near Forestway. So, I had to walk to Forestway today so when I was walking across the bridge, it felt taller than it looked. Luckily, it was still 8ish in the morning so I took a really shitty photo :S
I've been to John Fisher Park for sport and just because I can. And it's green so it looks pretty. One of them is from ages ago.

DAY 4 - a habit you wish you didn't have
Monday, September 27, 2010 @ 8:41:00 pm
That must be my excessive impulse buying, eating, sleeping. In fact, I can sum that all up in one word: lazy. Yeh, it's kind of an unfortunate habit to have.
Pros (the very few of them):
›› Gives me spare time to do things that I want to do
›› It's obviously relaxing
›› become more laid back and worry free
›› At this point, I'm already struggling to find pros.
Cons:
›› completeee time waster
›› it doesn't help for skills in any way
›› parents torture me all the time for being so lazy
›› probably have a messy room
›› probably have a messy wherever you are, whatever I own
›› not very fit
›› make use of bed a lot
›› make use of nice carpet a lot
›› make use of computer a lot
›› make use of pantry a lot
›› help shops earn money
›› bad image (this is what my parents say)
›› it's lazy, duh

DAY 3 - a picture of you and your friends
Saturday, September 25, 2010 @ 9:11:00 pm

Courtesy of Cindy, it's all edited and everything, but yeh, I got it from Cindy's FB profile. TYVM.
Anyway, these group of people are wonderful people. Shame it's missing some people.
i.e
Gavin - holding the camera
Wendy - generally doesn't like being photos
Goddamn you two, why not get someone else to hold the camera and just come into the photo !
Anyway, I feel I've said this kind of stuff already. So I'm just going to stop now.

DAY 2 - the meaning behind my obsessions
Wednesday, September 22, 2010 @ 8:59:00 pm
This day was supposed to be the meaning behind my blog name. But to be honest, I don't really have a meaning behind xxchia. Chia is a what I get called, xx is just generic so why not put it in front and pretend I'm cool. So, as a result, I changed this to the meaning behind my obsessions that I can think of. I'll endeavour to try 5.
1. Plushies
Honestly, how could you not adore these things. They're cute and cuddly and they've got faces on them ! Every single asian plushie has a face on them, otherwise they're just exceptionally cute by themselves. You name it, they have a face: tofu, riceballs, radishes etc. Why is this an
obsession? Why is that even a question... They're just right to cuddle, listen to you, everything. That sounds a bit depressing but the point is they're so comforting to be around and just OMG they are plushies, impossible not to love.
2. Pokemon
Don't love this? You're weird. It makes me feel so accomplished when I raise a pokemon up to a particular level and even happier when it evolves! Pokemon are all so cool and awesome. Again, there is no particular reason to me being obsessed with this. I loved it back in primary school, I still like it.
3. Disney
How could you not like Disney. Disney is like the symbol of my childhood. The symbol of my teenage years. The symbol of my life. Disney as well as Pixar. They are like, OMG i love all their movies. They show the perfect life, well at least it ends perfect and just presents me with the goodness of being happy and in love. How many stories are based off Walt Disney's stories. I'm pretty sure it's a guy so I'll just say he: he is so omg, okay, I don't have a word for it. I mean, how could you not love Mickey Mouse? Donald Duck? Goofy?
4. Watching dramas/movies that make me cry
Usually you wouldn't want to cry, but movies that make me cry take me away from it all and make me feel better inside that I'm not them. Unless it's a happy cry - in that case, I wish I was them. T_T THEY'RE JUST SO TOUCHING ! Classics such as The Notebook, and then those HK dramas and those Korean dramas. They all make me cry. In fact, a lot of things make me cry. Yeh, I cried in Toy Story.
5. Procrastinating
I often have nothing to do, and in times like those, I procrastinate. It's not really an obsession, it's more a habit. A habit that a lot of people have. I'm pretty sure at least once in a lifetime, you will experience this. It's not a good thing, but it's satisfying to know that you're not doing work. It makes me feel so much more, not accomplished, just less carefree. But then at around about 11:00PM I realise that I should really start, I mean, it's due tomorrow.
This post sounded much more interesting in my head.
P.S.
This time around, I'm aiming for further than Day 7. I checked and my last one ended at 7. Congratulations to Emma who was the only one who succeeded.

DAY 1 - picture of yourself and 15 facts
Tuesday, September 21, 2010 @ 10:15:00 pm

Just my luck, today, I happened to get a photo of myself.
15 facts;;
›› I'm actually not such a nice person. I can bitch a lot, backstab a lot. You see, I'm not very nice.
›› I'm actually really dependent on my friends and I couldn't live without them
›› I try to be humorous but in fact I'm not and I try to cover it up
›› I try to make situations that are actually serious, humorous, that makes people think I'm weird
›› I'm actually a POKEMON fan
›› I really love the feeling of being loved and being special
›› I'm a fatass gossiper. I love it.
›› Some people out there, probably hate me, and I know it
›› I hate tomato
›› There are a few basic needs in my life: water, food, clothing, shelter, money, good skin, happiness
›› I'm quite hyper much of the time
›› I love Jenny Park. I love making fun of her. I love D&Ming with her
›› I like to imagine I'm part of a drama and something epic is happening to me
›› I have imaginary friends
›› I don't mind being at school as long I'm with people

day 7 - ex-boyfriend/girlfriend/love/crush
Saturday, August 07, 2010 @ 11:48:00 am
At times I feel these topics are a bit too vague. I did not fail this challenge; I just found it awkward to write a blog about such D&M stuff with people around me. But now I'm alone and free to blabber and edit out the parts that are a bit too revealing and too embarrassing about me. This may be a blog, but I know people still read it. As in, sometimes I feel uneasy when this stuff is known to who knows who as I have no idea who reads this. So for my day 7, out of the many choices given I guess I’ll do my last ex. So, Daran?
To be honest, during the time I was with you I was
mega mega happy. :) But I’m also really happy now that we’re still friends and it doesn’t feel as awkward as it does in TV dramas and movies. Before we got to know each other I actually had no idea who you were; but I guess I do now and I’m happy that I do. I looked forward to every day and couldn’t wait for each outing. Even now it’s great that we’re still good friends unlike in my other relationships… But I guess that’s the beauty of it all.
I remember the warmth I felt in your hugs and the warmth of your hand. It makes me smile, the times we’ve had but also makes me wish it could’ve lasted longer than it did. I like how I could randomly be swept up in a hug and my heart would do what they call a
ba-thump. Experiencing happiness, sadness, loneliness was all worth it. The butterflies in my stomach that would come out to play when I saw you, the major corny phrase, sweetness of your smile… :)
I like how we started out as friends and progressed to going out and after that we were still friends and we don’t (well I don’t) remember you as my ex, but more like a friend. I enjoy sharing moments with you and I treasure every memory we shared. Even if you weren’t my first relationship you’ll always remain, even if it is in the back of mind, I’ll always remember the person who changed my life.
That was so corny. 88.

day 6 - a stranger
Friday, August 06, 2010 @ 10:10:00 pm
A stranger. There are so many that I could choose from. But out of those 6.7 billion people, I decided to choose this one stranger that I see when I go to my bus stop every morning. He seems to be my marker? (Someone that tells me if I'm late or not.) You see, every morning he gets off the bus and crosses the road (where I see him most) at 8:10. If I see him, I'm not late, if I don't, I'm late.
His face is kind of mysterious, I don’t know whether he’s pissed at me for recognising him as the person who I see in the morning or whether it is just the morning drowsiness. He’s Asian and his dyed brown hair is so pretty I kind of want it. Recently, he started wearing ‘fob’ glasses but I’m not sure whether they have an actual lens inside because he crosses the road away from the sun so I can’t see the reflection in the lens. His face is kind of thin and he can look evil. He walks in a slouch and seems to despise the cold weather.
Like Emma, I don’t expect to meet this person any time in the future, nor will I ever talk to this person so therefore I can also (like Emma) assume things about him. I assume he doesn’t really like scarves. He seems kind of like a nerd. But also, I can’t imagine him being one of those ‘hot’ guys walking around the city. But he can’t be one of those ‘cute’ guys either, because his face can be evil at times and therefore he doesn’t have the ability to be ‘cute’. You know, he’s like one of those guys that CAN look really cute if they smile more often. But sadly, this guy doesn’t smile.
He has one of those stares that are like glares. This also exemplifies his inability to be ‘cute’. He’s still good looking though. Now I’m wondering to myself why I continuously note why I keep calling him evil. His face is kind of intimidating, his whole stance is actually. His aura is kind of like a ‘not to be messed with’ type of person. Maybe because the sun is behind him all the time which makes him powerful looking and then he just gives you a glare.
Nevertheless, this stranger is an interesting character. Nearly like someone out of a drama. And then what happens next is a quirky and stubborn girl pops into his life and at first he hates her and she only wants to be his friend but then they fall in love. They feel astonished at each other’s feelings but then they accept them. However, they’re from two different family and their families… you get the picture. It’s called Boys Before Flowers. That’s what it is.
Day 6 was fun. 88.

day 5 - your dreams
Thursday, August 05, 2010 @ 10:11:00 pm
Wow, it's only 5 days and still another 25 to go. I'm losing to keeping up with this 30 days.
Yeh, I'm already getting lazy. Anyway, on with day 5: my dreams? Honestly, I don't really have that much ambition stored in this tiny body of mine but
I can dream.
So, every girl's dream is to have the dream man right? Yeh, we can leave that until later because that can't really apply until later in life. First of all, I need to have a smooth life because I'm too lazy to solve any obstacles that come my way. I have dreams that my life goes exactly as planned. i.e. finish high school, get a degree at uni, get a job, marry some guy, adopt probably, ETC. Anyhow, that's so cliche, but I like cliche, no problems.
Another dream, also cliche: money. I dream of bathing in this stuff. I dream of my wallet being endlessly filled with this so called money. But basically, all my other dreams rely on this one dream. I want to travel and shop and everything else that includes spending. It makes me happy to spend because it makes me feel like i have money making me feel happy because yeh, my point is proven?
Another thing I dream of is meeting all the people I look up to if you know what I mean. If only I could been born in a drama then life would be much more exciting. I could meet all these cool people and then I could be like, yeh, I have a social life. Joking, I love the one I have now. x)
On with my dreams, there aren't very many anymore. And I can't be screwed anymore either so, yeh, doesn't matter. 88.

day 4 - closest sibling
Wednesday, August 04, 2010 @ 10:09:00 pm
Again, this could be a repeat of my parents one. Just plain ranting about the most typical little brother things that annoy the hell out of you. For one thing, he always copies me with everything and then he gets treated nicely by my parents instead of me.
Well I'm sorry that I don't get high distinctions in absolutely everything. Oh gee.
I dislike how you play games when you're supposed to be doing work and then when I want to use the computer that you're using you say you have to do homework. I dislike how you avoid chores by faking a stomachache and then Mum makes me do my chores AND your chores. I dislike it how you suck up to Mum and Dad and make me seem like the stupid child and I dislike how you're so whiny, and naggy and won't do things when you're asked to. I dislike how you're slow at doing everything and waste your time because then Dad gets pissed at you and then he finds a reason to get pissed at me.
Unfortunately, I don't have much time today, so I'll leave it at that. BUT there is a lot more that I could say. Just not now. 88.

day 3 - parents
Tuesday, August 03, 2010 @ 10:07:00 pm
This could really go on for ages like Jenny Park but too bad I don’t have the time or the patience to do it. I really dislike it when my parents don’t understand me and how they don’t trust me being with my friends. They have some generalisation that all 15- and 16- year olds make up all the crimes in this world and apparently I’m associated with the ‘bad people’. Sometimes I just get annoyed and try to retaliate. But I can’t, because then I’m not respecting them.
I do recognise that if it weren’t for my parents, then I wouldn’t be where I am now, but I also realise that with them here restraining me from doing anything, I won’t be able to get anything that allows me to progress into the next stage of creating any sort of bond with my parents.
The only time my parents decide to notice me is when I have done something wrong or when I’ve made a flaw. Sadly, even when I overcome one flaw, they somehow find another one to pick one. When I have achieved something commendable, they dismiss it as if it was something normal and I could get better.
I figure I shouldn’t badmouth my parents so much considering how much they have done for me. But honestly, I would like to have a bit more control over my life. I get told what to do at home, at school at anywhere. The only escape I have is to sleep, that’s why I pretend to be asleep all the time that they’re around. Otherwise, I just have to be the obedient little girl that they always hoped for but never got because it’s me and not some other family friend’s daughter.
I really also despise how I get compared to other people and not to the score overall. For example 90% is considered stupid when a family friend got 95%. Ridiculous. But now I feel guilty for saying so many bad things about you. Look, I’ll dedicate a whole paragraph to all the good things you do for me.
Thanks for looking after me these 15 years of my life in which all my achievements that I have received haven’t been worth very much. Thank you for supporting me with money and an education some discipline and a lot more that I should be thankful for. I hope in the future that I will be able to be more open with you and you won’t criticise everything that I do that I can have a more honest relationship with you and I can tell you about my friends and how good they are to me and how my marks aren’t up to your standard but I won’t have to hide them from you because you’ll understand that I’m not as good as you were when you were in school.
On top of that, I’m living in the 21st century. 88.

day 2 - crush
@ 10:04:00 pm
Honestly, I’m feeling a bit open but don’t feel like talking too much about this. Please refrain from mentioning this to me ever again. YEH, that’s right this is much shorter than Day 1 post.
My crush remains nameless to you blog readers out there. I’m annoyed at myself for liking this kind of person because it makes me feel lonely and sad, but 5% of the time, it can make me feel warm and fuzzy inside just because you’re and talking to me. The fact that I like you pisses me off but I can’t help it if my heart chooses to reach out in that direction. It angers me that love can be so painful but it can’t be helped that it’s you and not someone else.
MOVING ON. 88.

day 1 - best friend
@ 10:01:00 pm
Maybe it’s our mutual friendship that blogger failed to save my post too and here I am again typing out all the things I love about you. Ring a bell? So here we go and you’re next to me anymore. Sad, but true. Well I guess if I were to list every single thing that made me happy would cost a fortune of my time. Too bad because I have to do Day 2 and Day 3 tonight as well.
“JENNY PARK I LOVE YOU SO
THAT’S SOMETHING YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW
I CAN’T FIND WORDS THAT RHYME WITH RETARD
BUT ALL IN ALL YOU’RE A STUPID RETARD. J”
Do you like my loving song? I like it too.
All in all, seeing your happy face makes me feel warm inside. When I see you feel down, I get worried when I don’t hear any reassuring words coming from your mouth saying that you’re genuinely fine. I like seeing your happy face otherwise deep down inside something stirs and I don’t have a good night’s sleep.
I like how when I make fun of you and behave embarrassingly around you, you get annoyed but join in after a while. I find you a stupid retard but you’re a very pretty one at that. When I’m happy I’m mostly with you and when I’m foolish you’re also there for me. When I’m not at my happy peak (rare when you’re around) you help me up with your retarded acts.
I admire your every move (mostly) and I like how we like the same things and do so many things together. I like how you pushed me onwards with your encouraging words. I like how we have matching sweaters by accident (psychic powers), matching eye shadow palettes, matching bus passes etc.
I like how the smallest details make you the person you are and how the person you are is the type of person that I love. If only there were a guy version of you. If only. I like how sometimes the negative things (getting annoyed at hair being messy) make up you. One stupid person’s garbage is Chia’s treasure. I love how I could find a person like you on this Earth to be my best friend.
I love how I could write so much more about you but I need to move on to my Day 2 and Day 3 since I’m lagging behind with posts. I’m sorry all. 88.

Follower of Cindy's New Challenge.
Monday, August 02, 2010 @ 1:55:00 pm
I, a follower of Cindy's blog, have decided to follow in the footsteps of her and attempt this challenge with her. This challenge lasts 30 days in which each day a topic is set for me so I don't have to go through the task of deciding on something to blog about. I should have started yesterday, so I'll do two days worth of posts today.
Somehow, I don't think I will succeed as much.
